:: BICYCLE TOUR to BASEhabitat projects in Linz

April 19, 01-05:00 pm
Start at the University of Arts - end at Tabakfabrik Linz
On this bike tour we will explore small BASEhabitat buildings made of wood, clay and recycled materials. The pavilion in the botanical garden, a rammed earth floor in the afo and the Über den Tellerrand common room were built by international students in recent years. The focus is on using existing buildings instead of building new ones, using regenerative building materials and developing new planning and realisation processes. The exhibition shows projects from Linz and Vorarlberg in which students have built with clay, wood and existing materials.
